Tasty Bake Sales help Nunatta Campus Nursing Students raise funds for conference

Nursing students held another bake sale last week -- a delightful smorgasboard of tasty home-baked treats. The funds raised will help them attend their conference in Saskatoon next year.
Arctic College Nursing Program
The Nursing students of Nunavut's Arctic College are trying to raise enough money to attend a conference in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, in January 2012. The Conference is put on yearly by the Canadian Nursing Students Association.
The conference will give us a chance to learn from various guest speakers about several matters of nursing. We will need to raise approximately $25, 000 for all 20 of us to attend. In trying to raise the funds we are having bake sales every second Friday, at Nunatta Campus in Iqaluit from 12:00-1:00.
Our next sale will be on October 28th.
