Rankin Inlet Teacher Education students shine during their Practicum

In these photos, Morris Manilak, Kayylynn Kusugak, Blandina Airut, Laura Merritt, and missing from photo Ellen Rumbolt in Baker Lake, fourth-year students intern in Rankin Inlet as part of their practicum experience. We congratulate them all as they continue to improve and shine during their 4 month practicum. Also, a special thank you to their co-op teachers Bertha Iglookyoak, Monica Shouldice, Kristen Sawyers, Margaret Okatsiak, and Alex Siksik.

The Nunavut Teacher Education Program (NTEP), in partnership with the University of Regina, prepares Nunavummiut to become classroom teachers through a strong focus on both theory and classroom practice.
