Staff at Nunavut Arctic College, Nunatta Campus Library in Iqaluit are trying something new this school year by having a monthly contest. Library patrons only need to borrow a book from the library to receive a ballot for the montly draw. Each month a different board game is available to be won, and the winner gets to choose which game they would like to take home.
Our first winner was Maren, and she chose the game Apples to Apples: TO GO. Congratulations Maren! The next draw will take place Friday, October 31st.
Nunavut Arctic College Library Services is happy to announce the receipt of donations from the Embassy of the United States of America and the Consulate General in Quebec City titled the American Shelf. The American Shelf is part of the American Spaces program, which is a U.S. Department of State initiative involved in opening American Centers in an effort to support public diplomacy.
