IQALUIT (November 30, 2025) – Last week at their Annual General Meeting, Nunavut Tunngavik Inc. (NTI) delegates unanimously passed a resolution urging an agreement on devolution of control over Crown land and resources from the federal government to the GN without further delay.

The Municipal Training Organization has elected new officers from the Board of Directors who were nominated at the MTO AGM. The MTO is pleased to announce that Ed Murphy has been elected President. Mr. Murphy brings a great deal of experience to the MTO and is also the Senior Administrative Officer for the municipality of Arviat. The MTO looks forward to working with Mr. Murphy in the years to come.
